Shri yantra is made of pure solidified mercury (Parad). Parad Shree Yantra is very effective in removal of hurdles and miseries of life. Shri yantra is position and placement in sign and houses. The Sri Yantra (sacred instrument) or Sri Chakra (sacred wheel) is a yantra formed by nine interlocking triangles that surround and radiate out from the central (bindu) point, the junction point between the physical universe and its unmanifest source. It represents the goddess in her form of Lalita Mahatripurasundari, an aspect of Parvati Devi, "the beauty of the three worlds (Heaven, Earth, Hell)".
The Sri Yantra is the object of devotion in Sri Vidya. The term 'Shri' is used to denote the reverence to be given to this holy Yantra. The prefix 'Shri' denotes that the Yantra is auspicious, beneficent, salutary, benign and conducive to prosperity. It is an instrument which bestows wealth. Here, wealth means both spiritual and material.
As per the Brahma Purana, any person, male or female and belonging to any "Varna"- Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya or Shudra, who worships Parad idols daily is blessed with worldly pleasures and lastly achieve supreme salvation (Moksha). The Parad Idol gives to worshiper a life full of beauty, honor, fame, happiness, knowledge, and wisdom.
As per the Vedas, there is nothing more pure, pious and auspicious in Kaliyug than Parad. Parad is also found effective in controlling various diseases like High Blood Pressure, Asthma. Parad has special significance in Ayurveda too. Many ayurvedic medicine use parad as the chief ingredient for giving energy.
